A 3D PRINTER THAT PRINTS FOOD

19:03

Recently we heard of the 3D printer, A machine that can build anything from toys to handguns, and now inventors of the 3D printer has unveiled a new prototype which they hope would revolutionise home cooking.
The device dubbed the "FOODINI" squirts out anything from pizza or pasta to cakes in a variety of shapes, from dinosaurs to spelling out names with letters.
Different ingredients are built up in layers following selection of design on the devices control panel, The printing process is slow but when compared to regular 3D printers it is relatively fast. Other than being capable of creating complex designs such as very detailed cake decorations or complex food arrangements in unusual and new shapes, Foodini can be useful for recipes that require precision and dexterity like homemade pizza and pasta. Currently, the device only prints the food and doesn't cook it, it must then be cooked the old fashioned way, but future models will also cook the preparation and produce it ready to eat.
