I don't know if you have ever felt like you're so busy but when you do settle down to look at the work you have done you realize you haven't done anything profitable? I get this feeling a lot and it can be really annoying. You feel like if you don't get this done nothing else would move forward, like someone is pressing you for time and yet you haven't got anything done.

I'm here to let you know there is a way you could get more productive work done in 15 minutes than you could get done in an entire day. You may be skeptic but what I propose to you is the truth. Productivity is made possible when you have intentionality.

You can create this productive 15 minutes of your day right this moment and I'm here to help you do just that. Here's how we get started with being productive:

1. Take 15-minutes out of your busy schedule.
It doesn't matter if it's in the morning, afternoon or evening or if you're at work, at home or anywhere at all. All that matters is that you get 15 minutes of complete peace of mind. You can't afford to be interrupted in anyway.

2. Determine the most powerful use of this time taken.
At this stage you don't go about doing things you feel are relevant but you actually sit and think of something you know if done would make an impact not only on you but also on someone or something else. Make sure it's important and not urgent so that no one has a gun to your head to get it done.

3. Take this time serious and make it a holy one.
This isn't the time to go online on all the social networks available to us neither is it the time to make unnecessary phone calls or gist with friends. There would always be time for that trust me but that time isn't this special 15 minutes of our day. For those of us who might be at work, it won't be a bad idea if the 15 minutes you take is your break time so as not to be interrupted. Otherwise you could post a sign saying "do not disturb". Just make sure you aren't distracted in any way at all.

4. Put your head down and focus.
You can't afford to start daydreaming or fantasizing about things that are not relevant to the task at hand. This is about making productive work done, so put your head into it and work furiously. Focus everything you have on this.

If you follow these steps, you would realize you have been exceedingly productive and you would feel amazed at how much you've gotten done in just 15 minutes. Set aside this little time to achieve maximum productivity every day. This new habit of intentionality can change your world. Adios

Now that the festive season is grinding to a halt, every one of us would start taking into account how much we spent this season. Most of us spent moderately, maybe because we knew work/school would soon resume, while most of us spent like there was no tomorrow. Don't get me wrong I'm not here to castigate you or anything, I'm just here to ask what where the things we all spent on this season? Let me guess the answers to that; gifts, eateries, cinemas, pools, beaches, travelling and I'm pretty sure the list goes on.

Well I'm more concerned about the gifts we bought or we got. Recent survey shows that the gift items that topped the list of things anyone could get were mobile phones and fashion items. Most online shopping malls were buzzing with orders for these gift items. I got one also, a blackberry bold 6 to be precise. It wasn't exactly what I wanted but then again it was a gift given with love.
